Redefining the concept of welfare State, Chief Minister Raghubar Das today stated that the Government is working towards making budgetary provision for pilgrimage for poor and elder people.
While inaugurating projects vital for promoting tourism at the famous shrine of Chhinnmastika in Rajrappa, the CM disclosed the benign effort under process.
“Government is planning dole out funds for pilgrimage for elderly and poor people in the budget. The Government is working on this proposal,” said Das.
Das inaugurated projects worth `3.73-crore to promote tourism at the famous shrine of Chhinnmastika Devi at Rajrappa and expressed government’s resolve to transform Jharkhand into a world class tourist destination. Das expressed that the government wants to make Deoghar, Parasnath and Chhinmastika Temple a world class shrine.
“Tourism can change the State. A three storey building housing a restaurant will be constructed in Rajrappa from the CSR funds of CCl. The building would provide shelter to people of all social strata and no lodging charges would be collected from them,” said Das.
The CM inaugurated a restaurant in the temple premises and stated security measures that the government would take to protect pilgrims flocking the famous shrine.
He also sought cooperation from the priests of the temple in maintaining law and order. Das directed Deputy Commissioner of Ramgarh to form a committee of priests, villagers and administration so that initiatives can be taken regularly for temple development, facilities for pilgrims and for the comfort to shrine visitors.
“Government is going to deploy one company of police force at Rajrappa to offer protection to shrine visitors. Priests of the temple should also cooperate in maintaining discipline in the premises.
The occasion was graced by Minister DWSD, Chandra Prakash Chaudhary; Secretary Tourism, Avinash Kumar and other Government officials.
