Chief Minister Raman Singh on Monday said the State Government is determined to develop newly-created districts like Baloda Bazar-Bhatapara. He was addressing a massive public meeting at district headquarters town Baloda Bazaar.
The Chief Minister on the occasion dedicated, laid foundation stones and performed ‘Bhoomi pujan’ of development works worth Rs666.87 crore. Singh said basic facilities are provided at a rapid pace in all the new districts.
The development of new districts is the top priority of the State Government. The Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone of ‘Nal-Jal’ scheme to be implemented at a cost of Rs30.53crore at Baloda Baazar town.
Singh dedicated the upgraded Nandghat-Baloda Bazaar road built at a cost of Rs122.62 crore, Jairamnagar-Masturi-Malhar-Jodhra- lawan road laid at a cost of Rs129.76 crore, Bhainsa-Baloda Bazaar road laid at a cost of Rs93.79 crore.
Chhattisgarh Assembly Speaker Gaurishankar Agrawal, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Punnulal Mohle, Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Ajay Chandrakar, Public Works Minister Rajesh Munat, lok Sabha Member of Parliament (MP) Ramesh Bais and Member of legistlative Assembly (MlA) Janakram Verma and a number of people’s representatives were present at the meeting.
