A tanker conveying propylene gas overturned on the Jabalpur-Nagpur Road near Partapur village in Madhya Pradesh's Seoni district last night, police said.
Superintendent of Police AK Pandey said the district administration evacuated the whole village in view of leakage of gas. The situation is expected to be normal by evening after the leakage stops.
Traffic movement on the four-lane road was halted following the incident. Vehicles were being diverted to another route. This is the second incident of a gas containing propylene gas overturning in the past three days. The tanker was conveying propylene gas from Mathura to Chennai.
