Haryana Government has invited applications to fill up four vacancies of HCS (Executive Branch) from Register A-II of members of Group ‘C’ Service against the vacancies of the year 2014 in terms of rule 10 of Haryana Civil Service (Executive Branch) Rules, 2008. Applications can be submitted to the Services-II Branch of the Haryana Civil Secretariat here by September 15.
An official spokesman said that all heads of departments have been asked to recommend the name of an employee from their respective departments. While the Chief Secretary has been requested to recommend the names of three eligible members of Group ‘C’ Service from Register A-II, the Additional Chief Secretary and Financial Commissioner, Revenue and Disaster Management and Consolidation Departments has been asked to recommend two names.
To be eligible for selection, the employee must have completed eight years’ continuous government service and should not be above 45 years. The candidate should also not be facing disciplinary proceedings under which action is being contemplated and should be clear from vigilance angle. Besides being a graduate of a recognised University, the candidate should not be a confirmed Gazetted officer.
The spokesman added that the recommending authorities can make recommendation of only such members of Group ‘C’ Service for whom they are employers and have a lien in the departments or lien would be maintained.
They cannot recommend the names of members of Group ‘C’ who belong to other departments but are working temporarily, on deputation or transfer basis in their departments, said he.
