The DAV College here released sixth and last merit list for admissions in the various undergraduate courses on Tuesday.
As the number of vacant seats were less the sixth merit list showed marginal drop from the fifth merit list. In Bachelor of Arts (BA) stream the students with 62.2 percent can now get admission in general category while the merit of SC is 52 percent. Similarly in B.Com the general category student with 65 percent would now be able to get admission. In the college 317 posts are yet to be filled out of which 185 are in BA while 35 seats are in B.Com.
The Principal of the college Devendra Bhasin said that the students should deposit their fees on September 30. He said that the candidates whose names appeared in the previous lists too should deposit their fees by this date otherwise their admission would be cancelled.
