Das vows to make State industrial superpower

Jharkhand has adequate natural as well as human resources to make the State an industrial superpower, said Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Sunday. The State will be first made the human resources skilled and then develop them accordingly so that adequate employment opportunities could be provided to the youth, he added. The Chief Minister was addressing a gathering while inaugurating the Jharkhand's first Rail Coach Factory OM Besko Rail Products limited at Nirsa in Dhanbad on Sunday.

"Modern coaches, including metro coaches, will be built here at OM Besko Company and the investors in the State will be felicitated with single window system," said the CM. More and investors are being invited to make investments in the State and the Government was ready to provide all sort of assistance to them so that they will not have to face any problem here, added the CM.

The CM also added that a pipeline project worth `235 crore is in the offing for Govidpur and Nirsa in Dhanbad to provide clean drinking water to the people.

The Chief Minister lauded the people, who have given their land for the rail factory. "It is a proud moment for us that this factory will be first rail coach factory of its kind in eastern India where more than 50 per cent of the products will be exported to the other countries," the CM said.

Promising all support to the industrial houses, the CM also appealed them to set up more factories in the State. The State Government will make the State skilled Jharkhand very soon, he added.

Former Union Minister Subodh Kant Sahay and Dhanbad MP PN Singh along with the other dignitaries were also present during the occasion.
