Stressing on making Pragya Kendras more resourceful in Chief Minister Raghubar Das has called for digital Jharkhand in order to make a real digitized India. While launching Digital India Week in the State, the CM called for e-villages so that digital divide between towns and villages is bridged. The CM on the occasion lauded the concept of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and recalled the era when globalisation was started in India in 1991.
“The common view at that time was that jobs would not be available in the field of industry for long after the globalisation. But even then IT field grew continuously. It is nice that the PM has understood the importance of IT,” Das said, underlining the good works done in the field in the State under the new regime.The CM added that his Government had allotted 52 acres of land for IIIT, 10 acres for C-DAC and 202 acre for development of IT park while 5 acres has been identified for academy for e-governance.
