The Madva-Tendubhata thermal power project of Chhattisgarh State Power Generation Company limited (CSPGCl) has been connected with two distribution lines of 400 KW each. This is a notable achievement for these 2X500 MW projects, CSPGCl officials said on Saturday.
After getting connected with the distribution lines, Madva project will now easily distribute power generated in the plant and would also receive power from other states in emergency situations, an official press release stated.
The switch-yards of the project from Chhedmara to Madva and from Korba West to Madva were energized by 400 KW transmission lines successfully.
Executive Engineer of the project AK Singh and Managing Director of Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company limited (CSPDCl) Vijay Singh formally inaugurated the transmission line through computer switches.
Notably the 2X500 MW Madva-Tendubhata thermal power projects are already connected with Rayta substation of Raipur. With commencing of the new lines the grid system of state has been strengthened and it has also paved way for commercial power production in the unit.
Inauguration of the lines was done in presence of MD CSPDCl Vijay Singh, Additional Chief Engineer (T&C) Bilaspur Sharad Shrivastav along with others.
