Haryana Chief Minister Manohar lal on Monday said that State Government has already ordered special assessment exercise to check the crop loss of farmers due to recent hailstorm and untimely rain in the state and the same would be completed by March 31.
While talking to the mediapersons at Sadhaura Assembly constituency near Yamunanagar, he said that State Government has already sought interim relief of Rs500 crore from Centre to compensate the loss of farmers.
“The State Government would ensure adequate assistance to the farmers,” he added. In reply to another question, he said that he had started addressing public meetings from Sadhaura assembly constituency. Such public meetings would be organised in every Vidhan Sabha to get the information about grievances of the people and to get the development work done.
