Chief Minister Raghubar Das has given deadline till October last to Greater Ranchi Development Agency (GRDA) to come up with master plan for Core Capital being prepared for Ranchi. At the same time authorised financial capital of the agency has been raised from Rs50 crore to Rs500 crore.
Participating in the 12th AGM of GRDA on Tuesday the CM reviewed its functioning and also decided to give additional charge of CEO to the Managing Director of the agency.
Master Plan for Ranchi has to build infrastructure in the lines of international standards.
GRDA apart from developing new capital for Jharkhand is also heading responsibility to construct a world class state of the act Knowledge City at Khunti.
In the meeting, Chief Secretary Rajiv Gauba, Development Commissioner RS Poddar, Principal Secretary to the CM Sanjay Kumar, MD of GRDA Sukhdev Singh and General Manager NN Sinha and Urban Development Secretary Arun Kumar Singh were also present.
