The Human Right law Network (HRlN) organised a two-day State-level ‘Consultation of lawyers’ programme here from September 26 to 27.
The programme was attended by lawyers from different districts, including Sonepur, Koraput, Nabarangpur and Boudh, of the State.
Saroj Padhee of the HRlN outlined aims and objectives of the workshop, solely meant for protection of human rights.
lawyer Promod Mishra spoke of the prevailing scenario and need of lawyers for better sensitisation on different laws.
Among others, tribal leader Niranjan Bisi, journalist Manoranjan Joshi, Prof Promod Bag and advocate Amiya pattnaik spoke.
