The construction work on 100-bedded PGI satellite centre in Ferozepur would start in two months, Punjab BJP president Kamal Sharma said on Friday after meeting Union Health Minister JP Nadda.“Union Minister Nadda will himself come and inaugurate the project in Ferozepur soon,” he said in a statement.Sharma said that the Union Minister has assured him that funds would not be any problem for this hospital that would be equipped with world class health technologies.
He said that having a PGI Satellite Centre was the long pending demand of the people of border areas of the State. “This Centre would have all modern health facilities and it would come as a big relief for the people of Ferozepur and other border areas who till now were deprived of the best health facilities in the region,” he said.
