Collector Rita Shandilya made a surprise inspection of a number of tribal students’ hostels in the district.The hostels inspected by Shandilya were Pre and Post-matric Scheduled Tribe Boys’ hostel, Government Post-Matric Scheduled Tribe Boys hostel, Government Pre-Matric Scheduled Tribe Girls Hostel and Government Pre-Matric Scheduled Tribe Girls’ hostel.
During the inspection, the Collector interacted with the students and gathered information about the management of the hostel. She instructed the Hostel Superintendent and Assistant Commissioner Tribal Welfare to make better arrangements in the hostels and also took meals with the students in the hostel.
