A three-day programme on 'Digital Jharkhand 2015 organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Jharkhand and Computer Society of India (CSI), Jamshedpur Chapter was inaugurated on Friday at Gopal Maidan, Jamshedpur. Anand Sen, president, TQM and Steel Business, Tata Steel was the chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion, Sen said ‘I think that the digital explosion that is happening today puts a unique proposition in front of the State of Jharkhand. It allows us to leapfrog and take a step into the rural areas of Jharkhand. I would urge the CSI and CII to build a proposition to discuss with the Govt where they can propose education, infrastructure, healthcare etc. These are areas where we need to think on how to extend our learning’.
The seminar and the exhibition will be attended by the State’s policy makers, chief executives, of all the major industries in the State.
All the major players of the digital technology space will showcase their digital innovations in this three-day long programme.
It will be offering participants to engage with thought leaders from Government and industry to help re-imagine the Jharkhand of the future and would also provide a platform to showcase the innovation and the future plans to make a significant change in the society with the help of IT in Jharkhand.
