Chief Secretary Rajiv Gauba issued instructions to all principal secretaries and secretaries to expedite implementation of decisions taken by the Cabinet so that the people of Jharkhand can get benefits of those decisions. Gauba’s instruction came at a review meeting of annual plans for 2015-16.CS asked Principal Secretary, SKG Rahate to distribute solar lED lamps to SC/ST students appearing for secondary school examination, installing solar power plant on proposed Government buildings. Rahete informed that the DPR of `5800-crore for all districts has been sent for the approval of the central government for the implementation of projects under Deendayal Upadhyay Gram Yojna. He also informed that efforts are being made for beginning Atal Gram Jyoti Yojna and Tilika Manjhi Agriculture Pump Scheme.
While reviewing execution of projects by Home department, Gauba instructed officials to expedite recruitment process of 10,000 constables and the process of setting up Primitive Tribe Battalion. The CS said written test for constables will be conducted by Staff Selection Commission where as physical test will be conducted by the department of Home.
Gauba instructed IG-Prison to upgrade jammers installed at 45 prisons from 2G to 3G in next three months. He also instructed the IG Prison to inspect prisons at regular intervals and to hold a monthly meeting in the chairmanship of deputy commissioner. Gauba instructed IG RK Mallick to start construction of Constable Training School at Chakulia.
CS directed Secretary of Art, Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs, Avinash Kumar to hold meeting with CCl officials to make sports university functional and prepare proposals to develop places with potential from tourism point of view.Gauba asked Secretary, Welfare, Vandana Dadel to release approval orders for the execution of projects of the department and upgrade student hostels as per the requirement.
