The Chetana College of Special Education in collaboration with the Commonwealth Educational Media for Asia (CEMCA), New Delhi oranised three-day capacity building programme for Special Teacher Educators on the ICT integration in teaching learning system for the differently-abled children which ended on Friday here.
A total of 30 faculties, including 13 women teachers, from different institutions of the State participated.
Colleges’ Asst Professor Binaya Bhusan Mohapatra delivered the welcomed guests and delivered the keynote address.
CEMCA Programm Officer Dr Manas Ranjan Panigrahi briefed about efficacy of ICT in the field of special education and its use in day-to-day life.
Attending as chief guest, OPEPA State Project Director Mahendra Kumar Mallik too spoke about utility of ICT in special education and its overall scenario in Odisha.
Among others, Persons with Disabilities Director Bibhuti Bhusan Pattnaik and Asst Professor Bhagirathi Mahapatra were present.
