BJP pays homage to Bharat Ratna Abdul Kalam

A condolence meeting was held at the BJP’s State office at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya campus on Thursday to pay homage to former President Bharat Ratna APJ Abdul Kalam. Senior party leaders, State office-bearers and district office-bearers and a large number of party workers remembered Kalam and paid tribute to the departed soul.

MP and BJP vice-president Raghunandan Sharma, speaking on the occasion, said that the Mantra of simple living and high thinking given by Mahatma Gandhi has been realized by many in social, political and other fields. lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan, former Prime Minister lal Bahadur Shastri and BJP’s inspirational personality Deendayal Upadhyaya likes simple living and high thinking was like Himalaya Mountains. Former president APJ Kalam was also the same inspirational personality who made his journey from bottom to peak. He left unforgettable imprint of his personality on people of all generations. He guided people of all walks of life including youth, students, scientists, educationalists, political and social. We all pay homage to the great soul on behalf of MP BJP, he added.  

Another vice president of the state Anusuiya Uikey while paying homage to the great soul said that when she was the member of National Commission for Women then she had met late Kalam. His personality would always remain inspirational and respectful for us, she added.

State spokesman and MlA Vishwas Sarang said that the personality of late Kalam was full of pep, he was the guide of the young generation of the country, in his death not only the country but the world has been suffered unfulfilling loss. By following his foot prints we would pay real homage to him, he added.  Others present on the occasion include office-bearers of the State and district besides MlAs from Bhopal.
