Thursday, 30 April 2015 | Staff Reporter | Bhopal

The Congress party has raised questions over Bharatiya Janata Party and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s precocity over country’s biggest entrance examination and recruitment scam the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) or VYAPAM mega scam. Congress general secretary and Rajya Sabha MP Digvijay Singh said, “Chief Minister Chouhan and BJP are claiming that whatever said by me in the court has been termed a lie by the court, whereas the reality is totally different. The court procedure is underway and both the parties should wait for court verdict that is still awaited.”

Singh also the former Chief Minister of State further said that the Congress party had conducted the inquiry of the documents from a Hyderabad-based laboratory in that it was found that tampering has been done, after that those documents were submitted in the court as evidence. While the BJP got it investigated from a laboratory-based in Gandhinagar that prepared report in its favor and that was submitted in the court by STF and Indore police, he added.

He said that the Gandhinagar lab is facing bayonet charges of destroying evidence and the matter is in the court than how could its report be considered correct. The report has been submitted in the court by STF and Indore police that is accused in the same case. The court scolded them for not doing impartial probe and by constituting SIT took away all the rights from them and the last thing that if the Congress leaders submitted forged documents than why legal action is not initiated against them, he added.

The senior Congress leader said that why the BJP is doing demonstrations at several places and taking political advantage, especially when it is having Governments at State and Centre. What is it that they are fearing. If the BJP and Chouhan are so much of confident then why are they hesitant in carrying out the inquiry from National Forensic Science laboratories. Why is it doing misinterpretation of the court observance and spreading it like judgment, he added.
