Farmers Welfare and Agriculture Development Minister Gaurishankar Bisen and Woman and Child Development Minister Maya Singh have extend cordial greetings to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on completion of 10 years in office.
They said farmers and women had been empowered during last 10 years.
Both the Ministers Bisen and Maya Singh said last 10 years had been pleasant for farmers, women and children. They further said that with the policies, deeds and schemes of Chief Minister Chouhan, farmers and women have got empowered and outstanding achievements have been registered in children’s development and reduction in rate of malnutrition.
Bisen said the measures were taken for the first time in the history of the State by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan to make agriculture profitable and chalk out a well planned strategy to save farmers from natural calamities.
Minister Singh said that the decisions taken for women’s empowerment in the state during last 10 years have been lauded throughout the country. Reservation of 33 percent given to women in government service will prove to be a milestone in their all-round development. She said today women had become financially, politically and socially empowered throughout the state and have extended significant contribution to state’s development utilising these opportunities.
The Minister Duo said the State had come out of tag of sick state and is being recognised as a developing state due to decisions taken in favour of farmers and women.
