As a spectacle of BHEl’s e-Governance initiatives, R Krishnan, Director (HR), BHEl on Wednesday inaugurated the ‘Unified Health Management System (UHMS)’, an initiative for BHEl Hospitals across the corporation.
This innovative project has been developed jointly by the IT departments of Bhopal unit, CO, New Delhi and Hyderabad which will benefit around 1.3 lakhs on roll and retired employees. On this occasion D Bandhopadhyay, Executive Director (HR & CC) New Delhi; AMV Yugandhar, Executive Director, BHEl Bhopal; all General Managers and DROs were present.
UHMS is a comprehensive, enterprise-wide system that covers all aspects of hospital management. It integrates the entire resources of a hospital into one integrated software application and automates the clinical, medical records, administrative and inventory functions. The Unified Health Management Information System (UHMIS) would aid in controlling the medical expenditure of the organization and help in improving health service efficiency and quality of patient care. The data and outputs of the UHMIS will also assist the management in planning health programs in the future.
Meanwhile, BHEl Skill Development and Welfare Centre under the aegis of BHEl ladies Clubon Thursday distributed food, grocery items and bed sheet to the occupants of the Old age home run by “Gaura Social Welfare Society”, Kolar road. On this occasion Aruna Yugandhar, President, BHEl ladies Club ; Shashi Singh, Vice-President; Anita Chouragade, Mamta Saraswat, Shrimati Pratibha Thakur, Kiran Gupta, Saroj Singh, Vijaylakshmi Gopalkrishnan, Nidhi Mathur, Secretary and Madhvi Pare, Treasurer were present. Yugandhar in her address appreciated the initiatives of Guara welfare centre saying serving humanity is serving the nation.
Madhuri Mishra, Coordinator, Old Age Home thanked the members of ladies club for the support extended to the home by the club.
