BHEl dy manager's house burgled

The house of a Deputy Manager posted in BHEl, was burgled at Asha Avenue of Kamla Nagar under Piplani police station area on Monday. Valuables worth Rs 1 lakh were taken away.

According to the police, the victim Kaseem Anees Khan along with his family had gone to his native place Etawah in Uttar Pradesh on September 22 and when they returned on September 28 they found that the locks were broken and  the door were found broken and the valuables were missing from inside the house.

A complaint was lodged with the Piplani police and in the complaint the victim has claimed that he along with his family had gone to meet his parents in Etawah and when he returned the house was found ransacked.

A pair of gold bangles and a gold chain weighing more than 30 gm worth around Rs 1 lakh were found missing claimed the victim. In the burglary other valuables and cash in the house was not disturbed by the miscreants.

The victim is posted as Deputy Manager with BHEl Bhopal. The incident took place at between September 22 and September 27. It is possible that the burglary took place during the intervening night of Sunday and Monday as before Monday the neighbours have not found that the house was burgled.

The police have registered a case under section 380 and 457 of the IPC and have started further investigation. Police said that the domestic help and the security guards would be questioned during the further investigation.
