After Dimple Yadav, the daughter in law of Mulayam Singh Yadav, the daughter from the first family of the Samajwadi party has made debut in active politics. The Samajwadi party on Wednesday announced to field Sandhya yadav, daughter of the Abhayram Yadav, as candidate for chairperson of the district panchnyat. Abhayram Yadav is the younger brother of Mulayam Singh Yadav.
The SP had earlier announced the name of Rahul Yadav, grandson of the former minister Baburam Yadav, a SP leader from Karhal in Mainpuri district. Tne SP however decided to change the candidate and she will file her nomination papers on January 1. She is the first daughter from the first family of the Samajwsdi party make debut in active politics.
Earlier she had held the post of the block pramukh of Ghiror block in Mainpuri district. Her mother in law Urmila Yadav is also a former MlA of SP from Mainpuri. Urmila Yadav had deserted the SP in 2012 and contested the assembly election from Karhal on Congress ticket. She however returned to the party fold after the elections. Sandhya Yadav is married to Anujesh Yadav, who is also the member of the district panchayat from Firozabad district. Sandhya yadav is the tenth person from the first family of the Samajwadi Party to have entered the active politics. Besides her there are six MPs from the family, one MlA, one MlA.
