Two-day long Annual Sports came to its end with felicitation of winners and lowering down the flag at DAV Public School, Hazaribagh.

Satluj house was declared winner while Ganga house remained as runner up of this 22nd meet. Chief Guest Ravi Ranjan Kumar, SP Gaya, felicitated the winners, runners and best athletes of this meet. Addressing the gathering he said that he is feeling highly elated in this alma matter.

Encouraging the students IPS Kumar said that they must work hard with sincerity and honesty as honest labour never goes in vain.

In this two day long annual sports Animesh Kumar, Tausheef Hassan, Sushil Kumar were declared best athletes in boys group whereas Soumya Sinha in girls group in senior section. Sameer and Varsha were declared best athletes in junior classes. Satluj house was felicitated as best disciplined house.

Distinguished Guest Ranjan Kumar Jain in his address said that he is proud to see Ravi Ranjan, an alumni of this school. He wished to see more and more students worth to be invited in future as the chief guest of different occasions.

Principal Ashok Kumar thanked the Chief Guest and his wife, distinguished guest and others for sparing their valuable time and for their benign presence and motivating speeches.

On this occasion welcome and colorful group dance was presented. On the other hand annual alumni meet was also organized in the school campus in which large number of old students of this school took part. President DAVOSA Saurav Jain presented mementos to the chief guest of the annual sports and his wife. On this occasion the alumni also impressed everyone with their songs and other activities. On this occasion Stefy Patel, runners up in Miss Teen India Contest, Dinesh Khandelwal and many others were present. Head boy of the school Rahul Kumar proposed vote of thanks.
