The Government has made it clear that the Anganwadi workers/assistants already assigned duty as Booth level Officers (BlOs) must not be removed from this work. General Administration Department has sent a circular in this regard to all departments, heads of departments, divisional commissioners, collectors and CEOs of Zila Panchayats.
National electoral rolls revision and verification programme has been started from March 3, 2015 to August 15. In it, Anganwadi workers/assistants were deployed at BlOs. Duty of Anganwadi workers/assistants as BlOs has already been fixed before issuance of order by the government on May 5. Therefore, they would not be removed from this duty.
