To counter Patel reservation agitation, the All India Confederation of SC and ST said that it would organize a rally of 10 lakh people in Ramlila grounds on December 7.
Decision regarding this taken in a meeting of the confederation held here on Friday.
Chairman of the Confederation Udit raj told reporters here that they would expose the anti-dalit policies of the UP Government. “Ihis government has taken away the ownership rights of the dalits from the land and has demoted some SC/ST officials. The confederation will not tolerate this injustice,” he said.
The confederation will start its UP chapter by organising a rally on November 8 at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan.
The country can progress if we all sections of the society can work together. But there are some forces which are dividing society on caste lines. One community has held Gujarat to a ransom demanding reservation, he said adding that how a prosperous community that control business ask for reservation.
“To counter this growing tendency the confederation will hold a massive rally of 10 lakh people in Ramlila grounds in Delhi on December 7. People from all across the country will participate in this rally,” he said.
