Around 5318 students from various schools in Jharkhand will be appearing in the State-level talent search examination to be conducted on October 31 to help the benefits of Digital India Programme trickle down to the people of Jharkhand. The massive talent hunt programme will be conducted online at 30 test centres spread across Jharkhand.
The programme-'Udaan-2015'-is a joint endeavour of School and literacy department and MICA educational group. As many as 80,384 school students from government, private and government aided schools had participated in the first round of the examination.
As many as 11-11 teams comprising five Government schools, three Government-aided and three private schools have been selected from each district for the second round of the test.
Around 11 participants will take part in the audio-visual round and quiz competition. As many as six teams will be selected for the final round of quiz competition including 2-2 teams from Government schools, Government-aided and private schools for the finale which will be organised on November 14.
The talent search examination is being organised for three-categories, category-A for students of class-7 and 8; category-B for class-9 and 10; category-C for class-11 and 12 students.
No examination fee presented equal opportunity for the students of urban and rural areas to showcase their talent in the field of information technology.
