As many as 352 youths from six districts in the State participated in a six-km mini marathon organised by NGO SHARP here on Thursday. SUYOG India MD Manoranjan Mohapatra inaugurated the event. The participants ran from the Kamaladeipur Chhak to the Jagannath temple at Narasinghpur. later, prizes were distributed by chief guest State IGP (SCRB) Sanjeeb Panda, guest of honour Centurion University Dean Ramakanta Panigrahi and ZP member Kishore Chandra Mishra. While the first prize carried cash award of Rs10,000, the second and third prizes carried cash awards of Rs3,000 and Rs2,000, respectively. Besides, 10 Runners-Up were given Rs500, each. SHARP Secretary Bijaya Panda conducted the event with the help of Prafulla Sahoo and Sujit Sahoo.
