In a clash at Bokaro Steel three including two CISF and one Home Guard cops sustained injuries under Sector 4 Police station on Wednesday afternoon.
Incident occurred when the protesting mob hurled stones, reciprocating the police action- ‘lathi charge’ against them.
Notably, a Home Guard cop Gopi Paswan died in a road accident under Herla police station on Monday night.
Demanding job and compensations to the next kin of the deceased irked mob blocked the BGH gate with the dead body of Gopi from Tuesday morning.
The security officer of BSl plant offered compensation and job to the dependent of the deceased but the protesters demanded appointment letter duly signed by any ED of the plant.
Suddenly, the talk between administration and protestors turned ugly and the police had to restort to lathi charge to control the mob, said an eyewitness. Reciprocating to this, the mob started hurling stones, as a result of which cops got injured, said another eyewitness.
