SBI launches pulicity campaign
Bhopal: To mark the beginning of festive season, the SBI has launched a publicity campaign through out the Bhopal Circle which covers both the States of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. During the campaign ‘Panchamrit Raths’, depicting various schemes of the bank along with Mudra loan Scheme flagged off. First such Rath was flagged off at SBI’s lHO by KT Ajit, Chief General Manager. Deepak Chopra and RC Panda, both General Managers along with Deputy General Managers and a large number of staff were present during the occasion. These Raths would move from place to place to disseminate information about Mudra loan along with banks own loan Schemes. This is first of its kind initiative by the bank in the Circle. CGM KT Ajit exhorted that individuals desirous of loan can register their names with the staff manning the Rath, for enabling the bank to consider their requests.
BHEl ladies club distributes computers
Bhopal: BHEl Skill Development and Welfare Society run by BHEl ladies Club on Tuesday presented computer set to the students of Pran Baldev Sewa Vidya Mandir and Saraswati Vidya Mandir School. On this occasion, Aruna Yugandhar, President, BHEl ladies Club was present as the Chief Guest. All Vice-President Shashi Singh, Anita Chouragade, Saroj Singh, Vijaylakshmi Gopalkrishnan and Rita Dhar, Secretary along with Madhvi Pare, Treasurer were also present in the programme. At the end of the programme, the school coordinator’s thanked the members of ladies club for the effort. Meanwhile, BHEl, Bhopal’s Quality Circle no; 537, Gas plant Division won the Gold medal in the 2 days, 6th Chapter convention on quality concepts organised by Quality circle forum of India at Bhilai. The group won the prize for their presentation on “Time saving in intercooler cleaning of air compressor”. The technique will help in gaining annual saving of `1.42,000 at the same time will help in energy conservation and bring wastage of water under control
Anti-tabacco campaign organised
Bhopal: CII Young Indian Bhopal Chapter in collaboration with CII Indian Women Network organised an anti-tobacco campaign for school students. Around 220 school kids from Narela Sankiri Govt School took a decision to say ‘NO to Tobacco’. It was a Social initiative activity planned with the help of Prashant and IWN volunteers to spread the word against tobacco consumption along with dental and eye check up of students. “We have just concluded the medical camp wherein 220 students were benefited by dental checkup and around 40 by eye checkup,” said Prakriti Jain, Chairperson, YI Bhopal Chapter. She further added, “We would like to thank Prashant and his team and also thank Kanchan Yadav for arranging IWN volunteers who were of great help.” The school management thanked Prakriti Jain, Rakesh Sukhramani, Ashish, Vivek, Nitin Sharma, Nitin Gupta, Manas and Kanchan Yadav for their presence and support. YI Bhopal have also been constantly doing many activities in this school like ‘Right To Write’ book distribution, Personal hygiene session, library Set Up, Clean your Campus Drive.
Diksha, Akhil to judge Mr Icon India audition
Bhopal: Dress designer Diksha Bhawnani and Fashion Photographer and Choreographer Akhil Saxena will be the Judge in Bhopal Audition at the third Mr Icon India scheduled on Wednesday. This year this male mega hunt is at Bhopal and it will be taken to 31 cities. The contest aims at exploring male models of the country having combination of positive outlook, grace and intelligence. This male mega hunt allows youngsters between 17 years and 28 years of age to participate. Grand Finale will be organized in Mumbai. The show will telecast on a large scale at local, regional and national channels as well as online mediums.
