DeSa to inaugurate Bonsai Summit on Oct 2
Bhopal: Chief Secretary Anthony DeSa will inaugurate three-day All-India Bonsai Summit Silver Jubilee Celebration and Exhibition at Bhopal on October 2, 2015 at Hotel Jehanuma Palace at 9.30 am. Organised by Bonsai Club, Bhopal, the function will conclude on October 4. Bonsai Club Bhopal’s President Mamta Mishra informed that 3 categories of Bonsai enthusiasts will take part in the exhibition including international and national bonsai experts, bonsai lovers and new entrants in bonsai field. Four international and as many national bonsai experts will attend the event. International level experts include Budy Suliastiyo, Indonesia, Pedro J Morales, Puerto Rico, Mauro Stemberger, Italy and Sue Aziz, Indonesia and Jyoti Parek, Mumbai, Babin Guha, Kolkata, Jyoti Pandya, Bhopal and Govindraj, Hyderabad. During the summit, bonsai experts will share their rich experiences and will also interactive session. live workshop and demonstration of bonsai art by experts from all over the world will be major highlights of the summit. The summit will be very useful for new generation of bonsai lovers, teachers and students and will help in disseminating bonsai art throughout the country and world.
Sanskrit Acharyas nominated
Bhopal: The State Government has nominated Sanskrit Acharyas of universities on Sadharan and Vidya Parishads of Maharshi Patanjali Sanskrit Sansthan. These include Neelabh Tiwari of Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, Bhopal, Radhika Prasad Mishra of Rani Durgawati Vishwavidyalaya, Jabalpur, lakhan Pathak of Das Bagichi Sanskrit Pathshala, Indore, Kirti Kumar Tripathi of Rewa district, Akhilesh Shukla, Jabalpur, Shitanshu Tripathi, Bhopal, Suresh Shastri, Gwalior, Pankaj Mehta, Maheshwar, Khargone and Yogesh Bhope, Indore. Similarly, Gagan Deora of Vedic Vidyapeeth, Chichotkuri, tahasil Timarni, district Harda, Umashankar Joshi of Omkardeep Sanskrit Pathshala, Indore and Gangaram Gautam of Sanskrit Vidyalaya, Chhapror Ashram, Umaria have been nominated members of Vidya Parishad.
MlAs nominated on Board of Secondary Education
Bhopal: The State Government has nominated MlA members of various categories on Board of Secondary Education. Kailash Jatav, Om Prakash Sakhlecha, Kal Singh Bhabar, Arun Bhimawad and Shailendra Jain have been nominated as MlA Members. In principals’ category Mahendra Singh Sisodiya, Saraswati Shishu Mandir, Balgarh, Dewas district, Girdhari lal Naik, Government Higher Secondary School, Karanja, Balaghat district and Sunita Pandey, Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Pichhore, Shivpuri district and 6 teachers including Santosh Yadav, Higher Secondary School for Excellence, Harda, Kalpana Mishra, Girls School, Jabalpur, Dinesh Niriya, Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Dindori, Arun Shukla, lokmanya Tilak Higher Secondary School, Ujjain, Durgadas Uikay, Government School, Bagholi, Betul district, Ashwini Pathak, Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Dewas have been nominated as members of BSE along with Prakash Rokade, Bal Kalayan Shikshan Samiti, Shajapur, Ram Kumar Bhavsar, Bhopal and Prabha Mishra, Principal Government MlB Girls Higher Secondary School, Jabalpur. One more one-stop crisis centre to be opened
Bhopal: One more one-stop crisis centre will be opened in Madhya Pradesh. This assurance was given by Union Woman and Child Development Minister Maneka Gandhi to Women and Child Development Minister Maya Singh on Tuesday. Gandhi lauded women’s empowerment schemes of Madhya Pradesh saying that central government will implement Madhya Pradesh’s innovative schemes at national level. Minister Maya Singh met Gandhi in New Delhi today. She urged for opening of one more one-stop crisis centre in the state in addition to Indore. She also urged for sanction to proposal regarding opening of new Anganwadis. Singh urged the Union Minister to send other states’ representatives to Madhya Pradesh so that they could be apprised of Shaurya Dal and other schemes and their implementation in Madhya Pradesh. Gandhi described state’s schemes as worth emulating for entire country. She said that schemes should be chalked out in such a way that they can benefit target groups in true sense. In this respect, Madhya Pradesh’s schemes are result-oriented.
norms for management of welfare fund issued
Bhopal: Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department has released Guidelines-2015 for management and administration of Consumer Welfare Fund. Central Government has released Rs7.50 crore and State Government Rs2.50 crore for Madhya Pradesh Consumer Welfare Fund. Interest on the amount will be used for consumer awareness and activities. The State Government will get about Rs70 lakh as interest on the amount deposited in the fund. As per the guidelines the societies running consumer protection activities may apply. They should attach with application verification of activities undertaken for consumer protection during last three years, audit report, requirements project in district being presented by concerning society and utilisation report of grant sanctioned earlier. A society will not be given financial grant of over Rs5 lakh in a year. According to guidelines, a society given grant would not use funds for publicity of any political party. The society which is given grant should necessarily intimate District Supply Controller or District Officer before starting activities of project. Several decisions were taken for conducting consumer protection activities at standing committee meeting the other day. Amount of Rs10,000 each was sanctioned for constitution of consumer clubs at Government Schools for Excellence in Rewa, Sidhi, Singrauli and Satna district. It decided to provide Rs10,000 per annum for consumer protection activities in tobacco-free schools in Bhopal district.
Wildlife Conservation Week to be observed
Bhopal: Wildlife Conservation Week will be observed in the State from October 1 to 7 to enhance mass awareness regarding wildlife conservation. Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Wildlife) has given directives in this regard to Regional Directors and Directors of all tiger reserves and national parks. During the week, free entry will be given to school children in national parks and sanctuaries. Through various competitions and sight-seeing, children will be apprised of importance of wildlife conservation. Forest officers have been asked to organise wildlife photo and poster exhibition, essay, painting and debate competitions and functions marking pledge for wildlife conservation in areas under their respective jurisdictions.
IPS officer T Amongla Aiyer appointed as SP (IB)
Bhopal: Services of IPS officer T Amongla Aiyer, Commandant 25th Battalion, SAF, Bhopal, have been handed over by the State Government to the Central Government following her appointment as SP (Intelligence Bureau). Order in this respect has been issued.
Siddh bhau inaugurates Free Urology Camp
Bhopal: Siddh bhau inaugurated 77th Free Urology Camp here on Tuesday at Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital Sant Hirdaram Nagar. On the first day of camp registration of 465 patients were done. This includes 337 male, 97 female and 31 children patients. This camp is organised by Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital with the help of Mumbai based social activist and donor Sona Gulrajani and Jeev Sewa Sansthan. Siddh Bhau said that to serve suffering humanity is equal to worshipping God. Volunteers should serve the poor patients with true spirit. He further said that Sant Hirdaram in his life time planted a sapling of service in this suburb have now become a fully grown tree parting shadow of services to the society. After Registration of patients, Dr CP Dewani, Dr Sudhir lokwani and Dr Rajendra Punjabi diagnosed the patients. later, Mumbai based Radiologist Dr Deepak Jhangiyani performed X-rays and Sonography procedures.
