Archdiocese of Bhopal organises Rakhi programme
Bhopal: Archdiocese of Bhopal first time organised a one-day programme of Rakhi here on Sunday. In this programme, Arch Bishop of Bhopal, leo Cornelio was tied Rakhi on his wrist by the students of different schools, and the students received gifts from Bishop leo Cornelio. Raksha Bandhan is among one of the most beautiful festivals in India. It is devoted for the special bond of love and care between brothers and sisters. By greeting with the vote of thanks, ArchBishop leo Cornelio said, “I am glad to attend this program it is very important for me. On this auspicious festival I respect all the religions of different states in India, and also that now a days when girls are unsecured in the outside world this festival is the symbol of safety and security as well.” He further said, “God is our father and we all are his children. We should always trust in God.” After this Arch Bishop leo Cornelio thanked everyone present there, wished everyone a happy and prosperous Raksha Bandhan and by this the programme ended.
manav sangrahalaya has new timings
Bhopal: The visiting hours of the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya are being changed from 1st September 2015. The new timings from 1st September to 28th February, 2016 for all the open air and indoor exhibitions of the Manav Sangrahalaya will be open from 10.00 am to 5.30 pm. The Sangrahalaya would remain closed on Mondays and all National Holidays.
professors to get arrears
Bhopal: The professors of Government colleges would now get second installment of arrear 6th pay commission. The higher education department has called for necessary information from regional additional directors about this. It is stated that the dues of professors’ arrear ranges from `10 to `12 lakh. The arrear is to be paid in three equal installments. First installment was paid six months ago and now, the professors are waiting for second installment. The payment process could not be implemented on account of non availability of money is the account of higher education department. For this information has been called for from every college. This information has to be sent within a week. The information has to be sent through regional additional director only. If the information is not received and withdrawal and payment amount is not paid they would be responsible.
vande mataram at patel chowk
Bhopal: National Song Vande Mataram will be recited in chorus on September 1, 2015 at 11.15 am at Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Park near Mantralaya. Government servants of Vallabh Bhavan, Satpura and Vindhyachal Bhavan will participate in it. The programme is held on first working day of every month.
Matki Phod competition
Bhopal: Higher and Technical Education Minister Umashankar Gupta took stock of Matki Phod competition to be held on Janmashtami at Nehru Nagar here on Sunday.
