One crore bounty on top Maoist leaders
Ranchi: A bounty of `1 Crore has been announced on the heads of each of the Polit Bureau members and top Maoist leaders Prayag Manjhi, Misir Besra, Prashant Bose and Arvind Ji. DGP DK Pandey, while speaking to the media persons in Gumla announced that Arvind Ji was on the target of Jharkhand Police; whoever succeeds in gunning down or nabbing him will get a reward of `1 crore from the State Government. “The reward money on the top Maoist leaders and Polit Bureau members has been increased from `25 lakh to `1 crore, for which the provisional approval has been given by the Chief Secretary while we the final approval is to be obtained from the cabinet,” said Jharkhand Police Spokesperson SN Pradhan.
Essar Steel launches B2B online market platform
Ranchi: In a first ever move by a B2B product company, Essar Hypermart, part of Essar Steel, has announced the launch of an online platform (www.ehypermart.in) for selling steel and other related products said a Press Communique issued by Essar Power Jharkhand. Branded EHypermart (EHM), the online platform will target B2B segments. EHypermart is an extension of Essar Steel’s pioneering retail venture, Essar Hypermart to enable its customers to buy steel online. EHM has already registered over 3,000online anchor customers. Currently, EHM is a web based market place and will soon launch a mobile app for the convenience of its customers. In the first full year operations, EHM targets revenue of USD 100 mn. It also targets 30 per cent of sales of Essar Hypermart to be done through EHM.
Informative and interactive session at SBPS
Ranchi: A two hour informative and interactive session was conducted by Artillery Regiment, a part of 1 corps of Indian Army with a view to spread defense related awareness among the students of Std. IX to XII. The session was presided over by lt. Rajat Preet Singh of Artillery Regiment of Indian Army. He told the students that good academy and sound knowledge of Math & Physics will help the students to make through the NDA Entrance test. Discussing various aspects and works of Indian Army, he told the students how the army has been shouldering the responsibilities to keep us safe and secure in our homes while they guard the frontiers night and day.
DPS Students Qualified for ElAT National level
Ranchi: The first level of English language Aptitude Test 2015 was conducted for the first time in India under the banner of Colorado Heights University, Denver in association with ECONS. Various schools from all over of the country participated. DPS Ranchi was one among them. 58 students from class VI- XII had taken up the test in which 11 students qualified for the National level. These students who have qualified for the National level will be going to New Delhi. Dr Ram Singh, Principal DPS Ranchi congratulated the students on their brilliant performance and spoke to them about the relevance of such kind of tests for their academic growth
