Yakub hanging: Sena distributes sweets
Cuttack: Expressing delight over the hanging of terrorist Yakub Memon, the Odisha Suraksha Sena (OSS) on Thursday distributed sweets among people in front of the Jagannath temple at Chandni Chowk here. OSS members thanked the Government and the Supreme Court for the hanging decision. OSS secretary Bibhuti Rai, Cuttack district coordinator Ram Chandra Barik, Satyabrata Panda and Vicky Chakrabarty joined the sweet distribution drive, among others.
COSA chief Sandhu visits Sainik School
Bhubaneswar: Commander of the Chhattisgarh Odisha Sub-Area (COSA) and Chairman of the lBA of Sainik School, Bhubaneswar JS Sandhu visited the Sainik School on Thursday. On his arrival, the school cadets extended a spectacular guard of honour to the chairman along with school Registrar Ajay Gupta and Headmaster Shreyash Nitin Mehta. Sandhu applauded the school fraternity for its improved performance by the day under the guidance of school Principal Kanchan Mukherjee. He also exhorted the cadets to join Armed Forces in large number and bring laurels to the school as well as to the State.
