BJP Members meet Guv

Ranchi: A delegation led by Vijay Oraon, a member of BJP National ST wing met Governor Droupadi Murmu on Monday. A detailed discussion on the welfare of tribals and prevention of fake degree in the education sector was held. The members submitted a memorandum regarding the irregularities in the education system to the Governor.

JCI App unveiled

Ranchi: The annual meeting of JCI was held at its office situated at line Tank Road. A discussion on the account of last year was held and then it was approved by the members of JCRET. The magazine and mobile app of JCI was released by ex-chairman of JCI. The app will provide full information about the members of JCI.

DC holds security committee meeting

Ranchi Deputy Commissioner Manoj Kumar on Monday held a meeting of Security Committee at Birsa Munda Central Jail where a decision was taken to strengthen the CCTV cameras and jammers already installed in the jail premises. A decision of frisking every visitor and security personnel entering into the jail premises was also taken during the meeting. The jail administration, during the meeting, was also directed to take no chances while shifting the inmates from jail to the court.

Guv to visit Bishunpur on July 9

Ranchi: Governor Droupadi Murmu will visit the Vikas Bharti, Bishunpur campus on July 9. A verbal confirmation from the Governor House was conveyed to Vikas Bharti PRO on Monday. Murmu will interact with the local ladies of Bishunpur working at Vikas Bharti.

Unconsent for Donation

Ranchi: NlU Bhopal BA llB Hons student Shubham Kumar has written an article on unconsent for donation by a customer. “Some days back I purchased a t-shirt from a Woodland store. When I saw the bill I found out that 10 Rupees were being charged as donation for WWF. I asked the cashier about this unconsent-for donationIJ His reply was shocking. I was told that it is ingrained in the system and is auto-generated. When I objected to this forced donation, He reluctantly returned the money back. Many must have made this donation without their knowledge till date. This is nothing but fraud even if for a noble cause,” he said.

Scouts and Guides call on Guv

Ranchi: A team of Bharat Scouts and Guides met Governor Droupadi Murmu on Monday. They drew her attention towards the pending Rajya Puraskar felicitation of around 500 Best State Scouts and Guides. Also, they informed her about BSG’s main programme ‘Free Being Me’. The delegation included State Commissioner (Guides) Neerja Kujur and State Commissioner (Scouts) Manoj Kumar.

Hul Diwas Celebrations

Ranchi: On the occasion of Hul Diwas, Health Minister Ramchandra Chandravanshi will unveil a State-level campaign on anti-malaria, diarrhea and kala-azar programmes at Vikas Bharti, Bishunpur on June 30. A Health Camp for the primitive tribes will be organized. Health Representatives of the 24 districts will be also be present here.

FJCCI writes to RMC to address monsoon woes

Ranchi: FJCCI penned a letter to RMC to draw attention towards the pathetic condition of the city during monsoon and because of the clogged drains. The federation requested the RMC to address the problem.
