Narendra Kumar gets additional charge
Bhopal: Along with his existing duties, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Wildlife) Narendra Kumar has been entrusted additional charge of Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and Head of State Forest Force by the State Government. Forest Department has issued an order in this regard on Saturday.
State officers reshuffled
Bhopal: The State Government has posted State Administrative Service officer Deputy Secretary, CM Secretariat JC Bhatt as Deputy Secretary PWD. Posting of Deputy Secretary Medical Education, Sanjiv Shrivastava, as Deputy Secretary PWD has been cancelled. General Administration Department has issued orders in this regard on Saturday.
Don’t be misled by fake PMJDY: Govt
Bhopal: The State Government has asked people not be misled by false propaganda by some organisations and individuals who are using name similarly to PMJDY and demanding security deposit on the pretext of offering jobs of Bank Mitras, Customer Service Agents etc. Mission Director and Commissioner Institutional Finance Vivek Agrawal has written to all divisional commissioners, collectors, SPs and other concerning officers to ensure immediate action if such an advertisement or case comes to their notice. An FIR should be lodged in police station so that necessary action may be taken against concerned organisations/persons. The Commissioner informed that there is no provision of jobs under Pradhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Yojana. The Union Government has neither issued any advertisement for jobs under the scheme nor demanded any security deposit for this.
SGTPS selected for Environment Award
Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Pollution Control Board has selected Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company’s Sanjay Gandhi thermal power station, Birsinghpur for State level Environment Award for year 2013-14. The award will be conferred by Urban Development and Environment Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya to Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company Vijendra Nanawati and Chief Engineer of the power station AK Taylor at Indore on June 5. Energy Minister Rajendra Shukla, Principal Secretary Energy ICP Kesari and MD of MP Power Generating Company Vijendra Nanawati has congratulated engineers and workers of Birsinghpur thermal power station. Company’s MD Nanawati informed that Sanjay Gandhi thermal power station , Birsinghpur has established high standards of environment at national level as well. Country’s leading institution working in sector of environmental awareness in India Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) had given Green leaf Rating to Sanjay Gandhi thermal power station. Meaning of the rating is that Sanjay Gandhi thermal power station is pioneer in the country in compliance of environmental norms. Similarly, the CSE had also undertaken a survey named Heat on Power under which 16 States of the country were selected.
