SIT on Tribal  land issue

The CM said that within a week the SIT to look into fraudulent transfer of tribal land in the State, especially those protected under the CNT and SPT provisions, would be formed. The Government has already taken decision in this regard but structure of the SIT and names have not been announced so far.

4 laning of NH-75

CM Raghubar Das assured the House that proposal for four-laning 261 km NH-75 would be sent to the Centre. He said that the State would prepare a DPR for that and sent it for its approval. BJP Radha Krishna Kishore had raised the issue in CM’ Question Hour.

House members underwent health check-up for BP, Sugar in the Assembly premises and also provided kit to check the ailments of their own.

A photography titled ‘Power your clicks’ was organized by Nikon in coordination with Jharkhand Photographic Association at a city hotel on Monday. The topic of the workshop was based wedding photography. V Gupta, Jharkhand Photographic Association’s former founder secretary who passed away was paid homage with a cash award of Rs 50, 00, 000. The amount was given to his wife.

Organic Farming

Mukhiya Archana Mahto of a panchayat of Ramgarh has encouraged her village farmers and started organic farming of vegetables. She posted a photo of cucumbers produced through the eco-friendly farming at a social website on Monday. Mahto has been posting the photos of her initiatives since one year.

Quality Education

A programme on Grievance Redressal Mechanism and Quality Education was organised at the State capital on Monday. MP Kariya Munda, JSCPCR Chairperson R Munda and representatives from various NGOs participated here. Three posters on RTE Forum were released. MP Munda said MDM should be monitored regularly. Also, he said that coordination must be maintained between Government and non-Government organisations.
