Two tribal girls of Sundagarh were allegedly trafficked and sold in New Delhi by a person of their village. Their parents lodged FIRs separately at the Talsara police station on Friday night. Police registered two separate cases and are now investigating to rescue the girls.
Sources said that as per the FIR of Karmela Bhengra, a resident of Rampur village, her daughter Subhasini Bhengra(23) was allegedlylured in the year 2013 by her cousin son-in-law Anugraha Ekka, a resident of same village, to provide her good placement at New Delhi and later trafficked her to New Delhi. She mentioned that she had not got any information from her daughter since then.
Similarly, Duryodhan Ekka, a resident of Rampur village under Talsara police station, in his complaint on Friday said that Anugrah Ekka through his sister-in-law had invited her daughter JagyasiniEkka (23) for taking food at his home in 2014 and thereafterAnugraha allegedly lured Jagyasini on the count of good placementand sold her at Delhi.
