While doing theatres it is important to keep the body language up to the mark and to use the required props aptly. All these basics of theatres are being taught to the aspiring theatre artists of the city.
Notably, a theatre workshop ‘Physio Objectical Approach of Dramatic Theories’ is being carried out these days at Krishna Pranami temple. Under the fifteen day theatre workshop the aspirants are learning the importance of body language and the props used in a theatre production.
Being organsied by Karmyogi Creative Group, Bhopal the National School of Drama alumni, Ravendra Kushwaha ‘Godan’ is training the participants the minute details of theatres. Here on Monday, the workshop completes one week training.
Also being inspired from former productions of various renowned artists the participants were given a slight knowledge of what is done over the stage live.
By giving examples from Natyshastra the participants were informed about the Dshrupak and roles of actor, actress and villains in theatre production.
While talking about the theatre workshop, a young theatre actor and director of this group Nitish Dubey says, “This workshop will be focused mainly on physical and object theatre. These are tools of theatre in which actor could learn how to keep fit our body and how to use properties in theatre point of view. I think such type of workshop is being organised for the first time in city which is based on tow basic tools of theatre.”
Dubey further says, “A brief introduction of Shakespeare and his works would also be given after completing the class of physical and history of Indian classical theatre will be taught. We would also talk about some Indian classics playwrights including Bhas, Bahvbhuti and Kalidas and their works in coming days of in this workshop. ”
