The aspiring youngsters wanting to enter the Bollywood industry as directors and actors will receive a formal training in the month of May. The Capstone Film Academy will be organising a 10-day free acting and direction workshop starting from May 1.
While informing about the direction and acting workshop to the mediapersons on Wednesday, director of the academy, Prince Patidar, said, “In the workshop, we would instruct youth or acting aspirants about acting and direction and how they can make a career in it. They would also learn about physical expression, speech acting and direction in it.”
Patidar further elaborated, “Harsh Daund, guest faculty of Whistling Woods Acting School, Mumbai and Film and Television Institute, Pune, renowned director Ravi Williams, senior theatre actor Sanjay Mehta and Ronny George would impart the basics of acting and direction. Also, well-known producer and director Anil Sharma from Mumbai, Ram Bundela, actor liliput Faruqui and Dilli wali Thakur girls and Jodha Akbar fame actor Shilpa Raijada would also take classes as guest faculties in this workshop.”
Elaborating further, he said, “Many students of this academy are working as actor in TV and films in Mumbai. Actor Rupali Sisodia is one of them and she would share her experience with youth in this workshop. Sisodia is working in south movie Tanay with superstar Chiranjeevi. She has also worked in some soap operas like Yeh Shadi Hai Ya Sauda, Raghvanshi Kanya and NRI Dulha,” Patidar said.
It would be a great opportunity for the youngsters to be a part of the workshop, he added.
