Rohtak SHO's elder son shot, yonger son hurt

Elder son of Rohtak’s Station House officer was shot dead while his younger son got injured when unidentified criminals on three bikes fired on them at Noida’s NTPC intersection.Police said the deceased has been identified as Sachin Sangwan(30), a software engineer in Noida who was living in Noida extension. Meanwhile, the deceased’s father, Ranveer Sangwan who is posted as SHO in Rohtak lives along with his family in Rohatak.   
 
The incident took place around 6 pm when Sachin and his brother Tanmay were coming from Rohatak to Noida extension in his I-20 car. When they crossed Nithari red signal and reached nearby NTPC intersection, three unidentified armed assailants overtook his car and then open fired at them. 
 
Police said both Sachin and Tanmay were rushed to Prakash Hospital where doctor declared Sachin brought dead as he had received three bullets. Meanwhile, Tanmay has been kept in Intensive Care Unit (ICU).However, the motive behind the incident is not yet clear. Police have informed the victim’s family members about the incident. Police have kept the body for postmortem and they are awaiting his family members.
 
Senior Superintendent of police, GB Nagar Dr. Preetinder Singh has sent Station House officer of Sector-24 police station Anil Kumar and Sector-12/22 police post in charge Rajesh Kumar to police line as they play foul to take immediate action after the incident. “The motive behind the incident is not yet clear. We have started the investigation. We are taking more details from victim family members.” said Dr Anup Singh, Deputy Superintendent of police, Noida.
