A benchmark index of Indian equities markets, the 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex), on Monday was trading flat 19.24 points or 0.07 percent up during the morning session.
The wider 50-scrip Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) was also trading 4.10 points or 0.05 percent up at 8,437.75 points.
The Sensex of the S&P Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), which opened at 27,770.79 points, was trading at 27,847.68 points (at 9.22 a.m.) in the early session, up 19.24 points or 0.07 percent from the previous day's close at 27,828.44 points.
The Sensex has touched a high of 27,880.15 points and a low of 27,737.58 points in the trade so far.
Good buying was seen in realty, IT and banking sectors, while selling pressure was seen in healthcare sector.
