The Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK) Ganjam district unit organised a youth convention ‘Yuva Kriti-2013-14’ at the Saheed laxman Nayak Community Hall here to launch the National Youth Policy-2014 and the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Abhiyan in the district.
About 300 members of several youth clubs of 22 blocks in the district participated in the convention. Ganjam Additional District Magistrate Pradeepta Kumar Nanda and National Informatics Centre (NIC) Director Ramakrushna Das attended the event as the chief guest and chief speaker, respectively.
Among others, district youth coordinator of NYK Prabir Kumar Pradhan, national youth awardee Gangadhar Behera, District Programme Officer of NSS Dr Purushottam Sahu, district project officer of NYK Devidatta Rath and B Sudhakar Patra were present.
