land broker and middleman of the Seashore Group Subhankar Nayak, who was arrested by the CBI in connection with chit fund scam, has been a cause of headache for bureaucrats, police, politicians and mediapersons.
Nayak’s link with the corridor of power in the State was revealed from a seizure list of the CBI, which had conducted raid on the house of the land broker in the city on November 18.
Recent revelation of Nayak’s secret dairy containing names of IAS officers, senior police officials, politicians and journalists has created buzz in the city. Sources said Nayak had link with a senior woman IAS officer who is on Central deputation. He had also link with a DIG rank officer of the State.
Apart from that, Nayak had documents showing business with several SPs, Collectors, MlAs and MPs. The document stated that he had paid money to some police officials and officials of the State Government to get favour.
