The Bhopalites will tap their feet on the musical rhythms composed by renowned musical duo Vishal-Shekhar on Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day to be held on November 1.
As the State gears up to observe the Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day on November 1, like every year, this year too, the D-day will be observed with a lot of enthusiasm in every district of the State. Various cultural programmes will be organised in different districts and the major event will be organised at State capital at lal Parade Ground.
“The celebration of Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day has become a cultural ritual for past few years. This year too we have organised a wondrous series of cultural programmes for Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day and we want the citizens to take full fledged pleasure of it,” said Minister of Culture Surendra Patwa.
While in a candid talk with the media persons here on Thursday at lal Parade Ground Surendra Patwa said, “like every year cultural programmes will be organised in every district and the main function will be held at Bhopal at lal Parade Ground. like every year, this year too artists from across the country will give spectacular performances before the Bhopalites. Artists from entertainment industry and folk artists will be a part of this cultural fiesta.”
While elaborating further about the programme to be held on November 1 at lal Parade Ground, Chairperson of Directorate of Culture, Renu Tiwari said, “A performance on Kalidasa’s creation ‘Meghdootam’.
As many as 350 artists from across the country have participated in the foundation day celebration. They will give a special performance on the D-day”.
She further informed that a special musical performance is also being organised. The artists are preparing for the performance with a lot of motivation and hardwork to woo the Bhopalites with their presentation. The performance is being choreographed by Maitri Pahadi.
Moreover, known for their wondrous compositions in Tees Maar Khan, Om Shanti Om, Happy New Year and more movies, the musical duo Vishal Shekhar will give a performance with their orchestra on November 1.
Further, Scientist Anil Kakodkar will be conferred with Chandra Shekhar Azad Award and also awards will be on State level.
