Valuables worth Rs 1 lakh were burgled from Kehkashan Complex under Koh-e-Fiza police station area on Saturday.
Police said that the incident took place at the house of one Umar Hasan, Kehkashan Complex, when he was away to Mumbai on September 22. When he returned home on September 26, he found the back door of the house opened. He immediately filed a complaint with the Koh-e-Fiza police the next day. In the complaint the victim claimed that around five digital cameras, one wrist watch and silver ware and silver jewellery were found missing which worth over Rs 1 lakh. The police have registered a case and have started further investigation. The circumstantial evidences suggested that the miscreants entered the house from the terrace and later broke the rear door to enter inside the house. Neighbours and domestic help would be questioned in the investigation, told the police.
