Two pigs were electrocuted to death in front of the BJP State office located at posh Balbir road here on Sunday evening.
The eyewitnesses said that the current from the newly erected electric poles caused the deaths of pigs. Rajesh Choudhary, the resident of Dalanwala area said that the incident shows the laxity on the part of UPCl officials. He said that two laborers had a miraculous escape in the incident. Choudhary said that the department has recently placed new poles and the department is yet to give connections from these new poles.
