To encourage talent of young scientists in research, two-day 29th Madhya Pradesh Youth Science Congress will be organised in Bhopal from Friday. As many as 184 select researchers from across the State will participate in it.
Young scientists, researchers and faculty members from various universities, colleges and autonomous institutes will join it. As many as 50 specialists have been invited for evaluation of the research papers. The Congress will commence on Friday at science building located at Madhya Pradesh Council for Science and Technology campus in Nehru Nagar. Science and Technology Minister Bhupendra Singh Thakur will be the chief guest at the inaugural function.
Various parallel sessions on 15 different subjects will be organized and research papers will be read out after the inauguration function. The subjects selected for the research papers are agricultural science, humanities and behaviour science, chemical engineering, civil engineering, computer science, chemical science, computer science and information technology, earth and atmospheric science, electrical and electronics engineering, environment, home science, biology, mathematics, mechanical engineering, medical science along with Ayush, new biology, pharmaceuticals, plant science, physical science, veterinary and animal husbandry.
Notably, before the commencement of the Youth Science Congress, a pre-Congress was organised in which a workshop was held on writing research papers along with DNA sequencing and Genotyping on February 25.
During the concluding function scheduled on March 1, selected researchers would
be awarded.
