The Paradip police on Tuesday seized two trawlers illegally engaged in transporting huge quantity of PDS kerosene and diesel from a river tributary near Bali plot on the outskirts of Paradip town.
According to information, the police swung into action after being informed by a reliable source. The police seized the two trawlers when they were about to make their journey into sea. However, crew members managed to flee from the spot. It was being alleged that a racket had been operating in the area to supply PDS kerosene and stolen diesel to trawler owners.
