A short training programme in electrical engineering would begin on Monday at the Maulana Azad Institute of Technology (MANIT).
The training programme is being organised by the Electrical Engineering department of MANIT that would continue till July 4.Notably, the global electrical energy consumption is rising at a very fast rate. Integration of renewable energy sources is seen as a solution to decrease reliance on depleting fossil fuel reserves, increase energy security and provide an environment friendly solution to growing power demand. Power electronics technologies have been widely employed in renewable energy systems.
With emphasis on the importance and long-term viability of renewable energy systems this course has been specifically designed for people from academia and industry. The course will provide systematic explanation to participants with enough background and deeper understanding in renewable energy sources. Technical faculty, Scientists, Research Scholars and Post graduate students from academic institutes would be benefited from the course.
Interestingly, the participants are expected from all over India, this course would provide an excellent opportunity for the participants to interact with each other and discuss problems and solutions of mutual interest. The course is focused on providing an overview of existing renewable energy technologies such as wind, hydro, solar and more and their future trends along with applications of power electronic circuits in renewable energy systems.
Further, the experts from IITs, NITs and reputed Technical and engineering Institutes including the experts from industries would be conducting the training programme for the students and other participants.
