Team Bajaj releases brochure, counts priorities

Team Pawan Bajaj released brochure of its team members on Saturday eliciting 20 priorities of the team and on the occasion expressed its resolve to stick to high moral principles set by the team in the election of Federation of Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FJCCI).

The team, however, criticized rival Team Ratan Modi for resorting to unfair practices in the election and also objected to the participation of few members of FJCCI in the election campaign of the rival team and reiterated its stand of upholding the sanctity of elections. “We are making efforts to ensure a free and fair election. However, Team Ratan Modi is using unfair means to influence the election,” said leader of the team Pawan Bajaj.

Bajaj is the presidential candidate of Team, which has fielded 21 candidates in the election to the executive committee of the FJCCI.

Meanwhile, Team Pawan Bajaj assured businessmen that they will get the VAT reduced to five per cent before the model code of conduct for Assembly Election comes into force and if the model code of conduct comes into effect they will work with the next government to get the VAT reduced to the promised level.

Team Pawan Bajaj also assured that it will work closely with government to simplify laws, ensure that one professional tax is levied besides online provisions for obtaining new licenses as well as for renewal of old licenses.

The Team Pawan Bajaj vowed to dissolve Krishi Bazaar Samiti and also putting in place an alternative to the Bazaar Samiti.

Other priorities of the team included working with the State government to establish land bank in Jharkhand, developing tourist spots on PPP mode, special package for agriculture and mineral based industry, expediting incomplete works of Ring Road and Transport Nagar, single window system for industry and transport business, computerization of land records and provision for online mutation, establishing FJCCI as a brand, ensuring online tax and fee submission for businessmen, working towards creating an conducive environment for businessmen, strengthening FJCCI’s functioning and working closely with government on implementation of Ranchi Master Plan.
